St. Charles Campus Rehabilitation Aide

A leader in acute inpatient rehabilitation on Long Island, St. Charles Campus provides specialized care for patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries. Rehabilitation Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and therapist assistants to assist with patient care; maintains the organization and cleanliness of the treatment space; and sets up and maintains cleanliness of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Correctly positions and prepares patients for treatments as required.
• Assists patients with ADL's as needed
• Regularly cleans and organizes the treatment space, storage areas and equipment.
• Cleans patient care equipment after every patient use.
• Cleans all hot pack and cold pack machines
• Returns equipment to its proper place and cleans/ prepares treatment areas between patient uses

Requirements:

Education:

HS Diploma/GED required

Previous patient care experience preferred

Skills:

• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced department, organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of treatment space and equipment.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills

USD $23.62 - USD $33.06 /Hr.
