Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Care Advancement Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join one of our valued client partners in Upstate New York, approximately 45 minutes from Rochester. This full-time, direct hire opportunity is designed for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider who thrives in a collaborative orthopedic environment focused on delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care across the continuum of treatment.

The selected provider will partner closely with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary clinical teams to evaluate, treat, educate, and manage patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships while supporting surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care in a stable, patient-centered healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic patients in both outpatient and inpatient clinical settings.
  • Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons regarding surgical planning, postoperative care, and long-term treatment strategies.
  • Assist with fracture management, joint conditions, sports injuries, degenerative disorders, and orthopedic follow-up care.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory studies, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical findings.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation expectations, medications, and recovery.
  • Coordinate continuity of care with physical therapy, rehabilitation providers, case management, and specialty care teams.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives supporting patient outcomes, clinical excellence, and evidence-based orthopedic practice.
  • Foster exceptional patient satisfaction through compassionate care, strong communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure in New York prior to employment).
  • Minimum of one year of orthopedic, emergency medicine, urgent care, surgical, or other relevant advanced practice experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management skills.
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education abilities.
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred if applicable).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous orthopedic surgery, musculoskeletal medicine, fracture care, sports medicine, or orthopedic clinic experience.
  • Experience assisting with orthopedic procedures or perioperative patient management.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, orthopedic rehabilitation, and evidence-based treatment protocols.
  • Experience using electronic medical record systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage patient encounters while collaborating effectively with orthopedic physicians.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating progressive clinical growth and long-term commitment.
Hire Now Package
Compensation: $115,000–$135,000 annually, plus performance incentives.
