Direct Support Pro Lead

Position Summary

Provide support, assistance and supervision to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community.

• Assist the Residential Program Director in providing supervision to meet individual needs and goals.
• Ensure each individual’s training, behavior, and support programs are implemented and documented in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Protect the health, safety and well‑being of the individuals at all times.
• Provide a positive, reinforcing environment that promotes independence and choice.
• Assist the Residential Program Director with scheduling staff, doctors’ appointments, vehicle maintenance and grocery shopping as assigned.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with agency directives, licensing standards and policies and procedures.
• Ensure all homes, outside areas and vehicles are well maintained and organized.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education may be preferred.
• At least one year of experience working in the human services field.
• Minimum of three years of driving experience and a valid Driver’s License with all necessary endorsements.
• Basic computer skills.
• Successfully complete required pre‑employment background and drug screening.

• Hourly: $20.50
• Drug‑Free Workplace: all candidates must submit a pre‑employment drug screening; a positive result or refusal results in withdrawal of job offer.
• Direct Support roles are mandated reporters; must report any instances of abuse, neglect or exploitation.
