Licensed Pharmacy Technician – Full-Time | Albany, NY Albany, NY 12205 | Full-Time | $18.89 per Hour

Licensed Pharmacy Technician Now Hiring! We are seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Albany, NY (12205). Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will assist with filling prescriptions, preparing medications, and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and patient care.

Licensed Pharmacy Technician Schedule Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Every other weekend: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Licensed Pharmacy Technician Pay $18.89 per hour

Licensed Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Pharmacist in filling prescriptions
• Prepare, label, package, and organize prescription medications
• Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain inventory and restock medications and supplies
• Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workspace
• Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer service
• Perform additional pharmacy support duties as assigned

Licensed Pharmacy Technician Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician License – REQUIRED
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Licensed Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy experience
• Experience filling prescriptions
• Knowledge of pharmacy management software
