About Achievement Behavior Services (ABS):
We are an agency founded ten years ago, in 2015, by dedicated BCBAs and LCSWs. We provide in-home/in-community ABA therapeutic services to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Our approach uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help children improve communication, adaptability, resilience, and independence.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). - Personalized training and supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
In the role of a Behavior Technician, you will work directly, one-on-one with the child in their natural home environment. You will be supported by a lead BCBA while you implement an individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) to help the student improve communication, focus, and adaptable behaviors.
Daily Expectations- Engage in rapport building and use creative approaches to help the student communicate needs, wants, and feelings.
- Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition and progress on the BIP.
- Provide 1:1 goal-oriented in-home direct service using ABA approaches (e.g., discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcements, reward systems).
- Maintain thorough session-to-session documentation, data analysis, and billing.
- Engage with clinical direction and receive feedback from BCBA supervisors.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients or students, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.

Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week

The Qualifications- Most Relevant Areas of Study:
Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, special education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology - Preferred:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board - Strong multi-stakeholder communication skills
- Adaptability and decisiveness under high-stress situations
- Professional administrative reliability: punctuality and responsiveness
- Proven experience working with pre-school and elementary school-aged children
- Experience with patients suffering from Autism and developmental issues
- Other NY State-required experience, certificates, or qualifications
- Intuitive, engaging, compassionate, and person-centered approaches
- Experience documenting progress notes and data points aligned with individualized treatment plans
- Structured and creative play skills
