As a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapist), you’ll provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the home/community while following an individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) created by a BCBA. Your work will directly support progress in communication, focus, and positive behavior change.
Daily ResponsibilitiesBuild positive rapport with students and families
Implement ABA strategies (discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, reinforcement, redirection)
Track and document skill acquisition and behavior progress daily
Engage in professional feedback and guidance from your supervising BCBA
Communicate respectfully and consistently with families, supervisors, and team members
Background in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology
Preferred:
Active RBT certification (not required, training provided)Experience with preschool or elementary-aged children (preferred)
Reliable, professional, adaptable, and compassionate
Strong communication and documentation skills
