CT Technologist – Cardiac CT
Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital

Note: Cardiac CT experience and the specified Siemens and Philips equipment experience are mandatory.

Job Summary
Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking experienced CT Technologists with strong Cardiac CT experience to support the Cardiology Testing department.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Strong Cardiac CT experience required
• Experience with:
  • Siemens Naeotom Alpha Peak
  • Philips Brilliance iCT 256
• New York State LRT License
• ARRT certification
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Associate degree preferred/required

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols.
• Perform Cardiac CT procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Complete daily equipment quality-control checks.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient and department documentation.
• Perform quality assurance and safety checks.
• Report equipment issues and maintain required logs.
• Prepare and manage contrast/radiopharmaceutical materials according to department protocols.
• Upload and maintain patient imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
