In this position as the Laboratory Supervisor for Central Processing
, you'll have the opportunity to lead an expanding and dynamic team of dedicated professionals. Join us as Laboratory Supervisor and see the Amazing Things Happening in the Laboratory.
This is a day shift position working Monday
- Friday plus alternate weekends & rotating holidays, with supervisory coverage extended to other shifts as inherent in a leadership position. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree
- Laboratory-related certifications
- ASCP Certification or NYS Licensure for Clinical Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) and other laboratory information systems (e.g. Epic, Epic Beaker)
- Knowledge of data analytics tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI
Required Criteria
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of laboratory experience defining pre-analytical and post analytical processes
- Documented supervisory experience
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Established working knowledge of MS Office 365:
PowerPoint, Excel - Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, leadership, and stakeholders.
