NYU Langone Health - - Responsibilities:
Assists the professional nurse in the care of patients and families by completing assigned patient care tasks;
Participates in unit meetings and contributes to Quality and Performance Improvement programs;
Maintains patient safety, confidentiality, and infection prevention standards;
Assists with admission, transfer and discharge procedures and unit environmental safety;
Provides direct assistance to nurses, nursing attendants, and other health care staff as needed
