Assists the professional nurse in patient care tasks and supports the unit in safety and environment maintenance;
Assists in data collection for Quality and Performance Improvement and participates in unit meetings;
Assists in admission, transfer and discharge procedures per unit operations;
Demonstrates knowledge of core values and maintains patient confidentiality and dignity;
Assists in providing care with respect to age groups and cultural backgrounds
