What You’ll Do:
Assist individuals with goals including independent living activities, personal care, meal preparation, academics and work readiness.
Support individuals in participating in community activities and recreational outings.
Implement individualized service plans and behavioral support plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and self-esteem.
Ensure the safety and well-being of people supported at all times.
What You Need to Get Started:
High School Diploma or GEDCovid Vaccinated Must be certified in:
CPR/First AidSCIP-R (crisis management)
A big heart, clear communication skills, and a can-do attitude!
Bonus Points If You Have:1+ year working with people with developmental disabilities
Experience in residential or health-related settings
Strong teamwork and documentation skills
Physical & Work Environment This is a hands-on role—you’re not just watching that you’re doing
You'll need to be comfortable with lifting, physical care, and active days
You have a strong sense of responsibility and reliability: you care about the people that you serve and stay until the next team member arrives
