Neuropsychologist Position

A leader in acute inpatient rehabilitation on Long Island, St. Charles Campus provides specialized care for patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries. Our psychology department is comprised of a supportive and collegial team of neuropsychologists, health psychologists, and clinical psychologists, as well as support staff that manages insurance and billing.

• Provision of neuropsychological evaluations for pediatric or adult populations with a wide range of neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders in the outpatient division of our hospital
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team that includes neurologists, physiatrists, and physical, occupational, and speech/language therapists
• Opportunity to provide brief cognitive and behavioral screenings and to offer brief therapeutic interventions on the inpatient rehabilitation units

• Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D. in psychology (clinical psychology or neuropsychology)
• Internship training and completion of a post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology
• Licensure in NYS as a psychologist

USD $51.14 - USD $76.70 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
