We are seeking a compassionate and caring Companion Caregiver to join our team at Comfort Touch Health Agency in Suffolk County, NY. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide emotional support and companionship to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. • Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, playing games, and watching movies

• Offer medication reminders and assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Run errands and complete other tasks as needed to ensure the client's comfort and well-being

• Develop and maintain a strong rapport with clients, building trust and fostering a sense of companionship

• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns or changes to supervisors

• Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care

Our team is experienced in caring for individuals with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Huntington's, Multiple Sclerosis and other cognitive conditions, and we offer patient, attentive support that adapts to each client's unique needs and stage.

• 0 years of experience is preferred, but we welcome candidates with previous care giving experience or a strong desire to enter the field

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Reliable transportation is necessary, as travel to client homes will be required

• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
