Behavior Technician

Tealway ABA provides compassionate, evidence-based ABA therapy to children with autism across Brooklyn. We're hiring a Behavior Technician to join our Brooklyn team, working directly with families in their homes and communities to help kids build real, lasting skills.

As a Behavior Technician (BT) - also known as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) once certified - you'll implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs one-on-one with clients, under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is a hands-on, in-home role serving Brooklyn families during after-school hours (3-5pm), teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and helping kids and families thrive.

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in clients' homes and communities across Brooklyn
• Carry out individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by your supervising BCBA
• Collect and record accurate session data using our tablet-based system
• Check in regularly with your BCBA on client progress and next steps
• Follow BACB and Tealway ABA ethical guidelines and treatment protocols

• Live in Brooklyn or able to reliably commute there
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (psychology, education, or similar)
• Clear background check; willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Comfortable with basic tech (iPad, video calls, apps)
• Strong communication skills and genuine passion for working with children and families
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Available for after-school hours, 3-5pm, Monday through Friday

• Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
• RBT certification (or willingness to pursue it - we support you through the process)
