We are seeking Patient Care Technicians to become part of our team of dedicated professionals! As a member of our Magnet-designated Nursing team, you will provide support to the inpatient nursing staff while helping ensure the comfort and safety of our patients and their family members. • Work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse and assist patients in a timely and efficient manner
• Handle patient care situations with a high level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism
• Responsible for taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and collecting specimens
• Collaborate with the clinical team and provide assistance with procedures as needed
• Use basic computer and data entry skills to support clinical documentation

Minimum of 2 years of healthcare-related experience in one or more of the following roles:

• Nursing Assistant (NA)
• Patient Care Technician (PCT)
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Medical Technician
• Phlebotomist
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Or if less than 2 years of experience:

• A Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification obtained within the past 12 months, AND
• At least 1 year of healthcare-related experience in one of the roles listed above

BLS certification required by time of hire

Epic EMR experience preferred

• Excited to work as part of a caregiving, patient-centered team, with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver patient-focused care
• A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and approaches challenges with urgency, energy, and compassion
• Adept at collaboration and partnership-building to achieve shared goals and objectives
• A thoughtful decision-maker with demonstrated ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Schedule:

Overnight shift flexed from 8:00pm to 8:30am Monday through Friday. Weekend rotation is required
