About This Role
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the complex, multi-disciplinary coordination of specialty patient populations, developing, evaluating, and revising care pathways based on assessments conducted through engagement with patients, families, and multiple departments.

- Department/Unit: Tisch Cancer Institute G30 - ISM
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Coordinate clinical care within a designated specialty with Nursing, Social Work, Care Management, and other related disciplines.
- Establish and implement short and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Organize and lead day-to-day patient care coordination.
- Provide consultation and education to interdisciplinary team members.
- Promote an interdisciplinary approach to patient care delivery.
- Serve as a resource for patients and their families.
- Act as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient Bill of Rights.
- Participate in promoting and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of nursing standards.
- Maintain leadership competency through continuing education and professional organizations.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree in health-related field preferred.
Experience:
- 2 years experience in specialty clinical field required.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current NYS nurse licensure required.
- BCLS certification required (Issuing Authority: AHA).
