Job Title:
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Residential & Day Habilitation Programs Salary Range: $17.00 per hour (based on experience and assignment) Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent (required)
Licenses/Certifications RequiredValid Driver’s License (required)
Skills Required- Effective oral and written communication
- Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer and office equipment proficiency
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, mobility, and personal care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with OPWDD standards and DSP Core Competencies
- Paid training and certification support

- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Must remain on-site until relief staff arrives
- On-call or extended hours may be required based on program needs
- Supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene
- Administering medications (post-AMAP certification)
- Implementing Habilitation and Behavioral Support plans
- Documenting service delivery and daily data
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment
- Driving agency vehicles for appointments and community outings
- Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary planning
- Responding to incidents and emergencies appropriately
- Providing coverage across multiple program sites as needed
