Sonographer

Position Overview

Provide pelvic/abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds for OB/GYN patients.

Collaborate and share reports with referring physicians.

Assist in the coordination of care within the Women’s Health department and other departments as needed.

Strictly adhere to HIPAA standards and regulations in managing or handling any patient information or patient inquiries.

Effectively perform a variety of other assignments and projects as may be required.

• Monday-Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Two Sundays per month 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday 8am – 1:45pm

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS certified
• Minimum 2 years recent Maternal Fetal Medicine and OB/GYN experience

• Exhibits outstanding technical proficiency and clinical perspective
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both thoroughly and efficiently
• Experience with EMR, preferred

• $55-60 per hour, commensurate with experience
