Location: New York
Role:
Occupational Therapist providing in-home, senior living, and virtual care to older adults, primarily through a one-on-one model.
Responsibilities:- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to enhance mobility, independence, and wellness, document in EMR systems, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and caregivers, and incorporate telehealth when appropriate.
- Valid OT license or eligibility, degree from an accredited program, proficiency in computers and EMR, current CPR certification, and ability to meet physical demands such as lifting and assisting patients.
Autonomy, flexibility, strong patient relationship skills, and a commitment to meaningful outcomes. Clinicians can create their own schedules and may participate in virtual care and mentorship programs.
