Certified Nursing Assistant – Long-Term Care
Schedule:
Night shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full-time: 37.5 hours/week, Every other weekend and holiday required
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 23 weeks, Guaranteed
Hours:
37.5 per week
Requirements: NYS Nursing Assistant Certification, BLS Certification (must be through AHA or RQI), Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting, High School Diploma or GED
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living needs, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Maintain a safe environment for residents and respond to their needs promptly. Support residents during meals and help with feeding as needed. Assist with mobility and rehabilitation activities, ensuring proper safety and positioning. Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Document weights and intake/output as per care protocols.
