Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join a busy healthcare organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term contract position with a consistent weekday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Process and submit insurance claims accurately and on time.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to maximize reimbursement.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable.
• Review billing reports and identify claim errors for correction.
• Submit appeals and follow up with insurance carriers as needed.
• Document all account activity and correspondence in the billing system.
• Prepare monthly reports and respond to billing inquiries promptly.
• Complete assigned training and perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical billing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with the Eagle billing system is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance billing, claims processing, accounts receivable, and third-party payors.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
