Field Director, Medical Affairs

BESTMSLs seeks a Field Director, Medical Affairs to lead and mentor MSL teams supporting biopharma clients. You will drive scientific strategy, oversee KOL and stakeholder engagement, and ensure high-quality, compliant scientific exchange. Responsibilities include guiding evidence generation and communication plans, aligning field insights with medical strategy, and partnering with internal and client teams. You will champion field medical excellence, support training and performance, and foster a collaborative, learning-focused culture while advancing impactful, evidence-based medical communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor MSL teams to deliver high-quality, compliant scientific exchange
• Develop and execute field medical strategy aligned with client medical plans
• Oversee KOL and stakeholder engagement, mapping, and relationship development
• Guide evidence generation and data communication plans with cross-functional partners
• Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance in field medical materials and interactions
• Translate field insights into strategic recommendations for clients
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of MSLs
• Monitor team performance, metrics, and field medical excellence standards
• Collaborate closely with internal BESTMSLs and biopharma client stakeholders
• Promote a collaborative, learning-focused culture within the field medical organization
