Casac Counselor
We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide counseling services in the field of substance abuse treatment. This full-time position is based in Wainscott, NY and requires a commitment to fostering patient recovery through direct counseling and therapeutic interactions. The role involves working standard weekday hours.
Provide individual counseling and develop treatment/recovery plans. Facilitate daily activities and community meetings. Conduct therapeutic interactions to enhance social, cognitive, and behavioral skills. Supervise milieu staff and ensure a supportive treatment environment. Deliver psychosocial interventions and motivational interviewing techniques. Offer individual, group, and family counseling. Maintain comprehensive case records.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing. Minimum two years of experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment.
