Location: New York

Achievement Behavior Services is seeking compassionate and dependable ABA Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

This is a part-time, in-person position providing services in clients’ homes and community settings throughout Nassau County. We are currently hiring for several consistent after-school and weekend schedules.

  • Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

Williston Park, NY 11596

Achievement Behavior Services is an Applied Behavior Analysis agency founded in 2015 and led by experienced BCBA and LCSW professionals. We provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism.

Behavior Technician Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in accordance with the client’s individualized treatment plan

  • Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA

  • Support the development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills

  • Use appropriate reinforcement and behavioral redirection techniques

  • Collect accurate data during each session

  • Complete timely and detailed session notes

  • Recognize and document changes in client behavior and progress

  • Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers

  • Seek clinical guidance from the supervising BCBA when support is needed

  • Maintain a consistent weekly schedule and arrive punctually for sessions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or adolescents

  • Experience supporting individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities

  • Education or coursework in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, education, social work, or a related field

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification is preferred but not required

  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills

  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and adaptable

  • Ability to remain professional in challenging situations

  • Ability to accurately document session notes and behavioral data

  • Ability to travel consistently to the selected client’s location

  • Additional qualifications or documentation as required by New York State
