Location: New York

Achievement Behavior Services is hiring caring, reliable, and energetic Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work individually with children and adolescents with autism throughout Queens.

These are in-person, part-time opportunities in clients’ homes and community settings. Multiple afternoon, evening, and weekend schedules are available. Candidates may apply for the case that best fits their location and availability.

  • 10-year-old male

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM

Corona, NY 11368

  • 6-year-old male

  • Friday: 3:30 PM–7:00 PM

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

  • A Spanish-speaking Behavior Technician is needed for this case

Jackson Heights, Queens, NY 11372

  • 5-year-old male

  • Tuesday and Wednesday: 3:30 PM–5:30 PM

Make a Meaningful Difference

As an ABA Behavior Technician, you will work directly with one client while following an individualized treatment plan created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Your sessions will focus on helping the client strengthen communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

You will receive ongoing guidance and supervision from a BCBA while gaining meaningful hands-on experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized ABA services in the client’s home or community

  • Follow treatment protocols and behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA

  • Help clients work toward communication, social, behavioral, and independent-living goals

  • Use positive reinforcement and appropriate behavioral redirection strategies

  • Collect and record accurate session data

  • Complete detailed session notes after each appointment

  • Communicate respectfully with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and other team members

  • Report client progress and behavioral changes to the supervising BCBA

  • Request clinical guidance whenever additional support is needed

  • Maintain punctual and dependable attendance for the agreed-upon weekly schedule

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or adolescents

  • Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, special education, or behavioral support

  • Coursework or a degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, education, special education, social work, or a related field

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification is preferred but not required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A patient, compassionate, and person-centered approach

  • Ability to follow written treatment plans and accept feedback

  • Dependable transportation to the selected client’s location

  • Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule

  • Any additional qualifications or documentation required by New York State
