Location: New York

Early Intervention (EI) is a comprehensive interagency program that supports infants and children with developmental delays by providing timely therapeutic services to help them reach their full potential. The EI program also empowers families to meet their own needs and ensures access to services to all eligible children regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, immigration status, or income. The EIP is legally mandated under Title II-A, 2552 of Article 25 of the NYS PHL to ensure that eligible children receive therapeutic services as soon as possible, and it has been recognized as an essential service during COVID-19 by NYS.

The Intervention Quality Initiatives (IQI) Unit works in advancing health equity, improving service quality, and strengthening workforce capacity through professional development, technical assistance, and partnerships with academic institutions. Additional initiatives include innovative parent and EI provider text messaging programs designed to enhance communication, engagement, and access to services.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Supervise the Intervention Quality Initiatives (IQI) Team
Create and deliver professional development materials and trainings
Review and summarize research and literature
Create and deliver professional development materials and trainings; review and summarize research and literature
Create, edit, and review content for reports, presentations, text messages and related materials and participate in or facilitate meetings with internal and external partners
Write reports, summaries, policies and procedures and review data and summarize findings
Develop and write scopes for consultant and academic contracts, and manage procurement process in collaboration with EI Administration
