Ultrasonographer in New York, NY

Embark on a dynamic contract opportunity as a skilled Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer specializing in general imaging and OB at a reputable healthcare facility. This 13-week contract offers the chance to showcase your expertise in a supportive and professional environment, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position for candidates who excel and express long-term interest.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of OB ultrasound experience
• Active ARDMS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general and OB ultrasound studies, following established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostics and optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as necessary to support consistent operation
• Accurately document patient histories and sonographic findings within electronic medical records
• Provide compassionate patient care and knowledge sharing regarding the imaging process

Additional Details:

• Candidates interested in a long-term career will be considered for permanent hire after the contract, pending performance and mutual interest
• The interview process requires an on-site scan interview (3–4 hours), for which you will be compensated
