- Corroborate patient s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for the licensed practitioners use
- Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education
- Select and operate magnetic resonance system and related equipment
- Maintain professionalism, compassion, and a demeanor consistent with medical ethics in all patient and team interactions
- Recognize essential conditions for successful completion of procedure
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the exam
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, providers, and support staff to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent patient outcomes
- Support clinic operations and complete additional responsibilities as assigned
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions:
- Minimum of graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Must have unrestricted NYS licensure and ARRT certification
- Must have ARRT MRI certification or be willing to complete MRI certification within 1 year of hire or transfer date
- Current with continuing education requirements to maintain ARRT certification
- Additional education in sectional human anatomy a plus
- Experience in medical imaging
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel to other OrthoNY locations if needed depending on staffing and needs. Reliable transportation is essential
