This position is a Full Time Patient Representative/Front Desk Receptionist located on Church Ave – Brooklyn, NY. The staff member will provide patient‑centered care, facilitate access to services, and manage all aspects of the registration and appointment process. They serve as the first point of contact within the medical care team and perform all duties in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Job Responsibilities- Assist with daily reception activities and ensure all processes needed for patient services are initiated.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients regarding services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for telephone and mail communication with patients.
- Schedule appointments, collect fees, and explain services and charges to patients.
- Distribute patient materials such as satisfaction cards and patient rights documents.
- Verify insurance coverage and set fees based on the sliding‑scale fee schedule.
- Minimum Education Requirement:
High School diploma or GED. - Minimum Work‑Related
Experience:
2–4 years in a reception or appointment‑setting role. - Preferred Specialized Skills & Knowledge:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written).
- Job Type: Full Time.
- Pay: $20.00 – $23.13 per hour.
