OverviewWe are seeking dedicated Medical Receptionist and Assistants to join our team. This role offers an engaging opportunity to support patient care through administrative excellence and clinical assistance. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth clinic operations, delivering exceptional patient service, and maintaining accurate medical records in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-ups, and manage patient flow to optimize clinic productivity.
- Collect patient medical histories with attention to detail and professionalism.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as preparing patients for examinations, and supporting procedures like biopsy and excision.
- Support administrative functions such as, insurance verification.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and uphold high standards of patient service throughout all interactions.
- Prior experience in medical office management or clinical support roles within dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and related software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and team collaboration.
