Special Instructor - ABA

Provider Responsibilities

The ABA provider will be working one on one with developmentally delayed babies and toddlers who qualify for Early Intervention services. Therapists are expected to:

• Utilize their knowledge and skills, as well as follow the established curriculum/tasks, to help the child reach their milestones and goals.
• Train families in ABA techniques in order to ensure carryover between sessions.

Prescribed sessions are from 3 - 20 hours per week, varying by each case.

• Credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/LMSW.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (LCSW) from an accredited university.
• Valid License in NYS, verifiable through the NYS Office of Professions.
• At least one (1) year of experience working with children aged 0-5 years and their families (preferred).
• DOH Approval is great, but not a must.
• Ability to efficiently set and manage a caseload, process documentation in a timely manner and effectively communicate with families and Bloomer Health personnel.
