Respiratory Therapist PRN Nights

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per diem Pharmacist.

• Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Core Values and incorporates them into the performance of duties.
• Performs other miscellaneous related duties as required.
• Provides guidance to pharmacy students when required.
• Completes annual competency assessments.
• Documents clinical interventions.
• Maintains a professional attitude when answering telephones, addressing patients and providing drug information.
• Participates in projects/activities to maintain professional competence (seminars, journals, 15 hours of continuing education credit per year required by NYS).
• Participates in monthly inventory records through Veriform assignment.
• Assists management with Waste Fraud and Abuse according to NYULMC policies and Federal Law.
• Provides direct oversight of pharmacy Technician maintaining NYULMC standards of quality.
• Provides vaccinations to patients according to NYULMC policies and NYS Pharmacy Laws.
• Maintains a current understanding and applies onsite pharmacy technology.
• Provides drug information and consultation to patients and health care providers according to NYULMC policies and NYS Pharmacy Laws.
• Maintains pharmacy records according to NYULMC policies and NYS Pharmacy Laws.
• Responsible for medication dispensation according to NYULMC policies and NYS Pharmacy Laws.

To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy, a New York State Pharmacy License, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pharmacist License - NYS.

5 years experience in a busy retail pharmacy, provided immunization to greater than 200 patients. PGY-1 Ambulatory.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Salary range: $66.30 - $71.86 hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
