Location: New York

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Psychologist, you will supervise and/or provide professional psychological services. In addition to assessment and treatment, your duties may include:

  • Clinical leadership.
  • Program management.
  • Psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, and sex offense treatment.
  • Forensic or court‑ordered assessment, treatment, and expert testimony.
  • Specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, educational).
  • Design and application of behavioral technology and other specialized psychological interventions.
  • Crisis intervention.
  • Training.
  • Peer review.
Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Psychologist.

Additional Information

This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). Positions may be filled through a non‑competitive appointment; employees hired under NY HELPS are expected to have their permanent non‑competitive employment status converted to permanent competitive status within one year of permanent appointment.
