Responsibilities
As a Licensed Psychologist, you will supervise and/or provide professional psychological services. In addition to assessment and treatment, your duties may include:
- Clinical leadership.
- Program management.
- Psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, and sex offense treatment.
- Forensic or court‑ordered assessment, treatment, and expert testimony.
- Specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, educational).
- Design and application of behavioral technology and other specialized psychological interventions.
- Crisis intervention.
- Training.
- Peer review.
Candidates must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Psychologist.
Additional InformationThis title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). Positions may be filled through a non‑competitive appointment; employees hired under NY HELPS are expected to have their permanent non‑competitive employment status converted to permanent competitive status within one year of permanent appointment.
