Position Title

Paramedic

• Base pay: $27.50 - $40.50 per hour, based on experience
• Sign‑on bonuses: $10,000 for full‑time, $5,000 for part‑time
• Night shift differential, dedicated hospital shift differential, overtime opportunities

• Collaborate with EMTs and management to ensure top‑tier patient care.
• Adapt to a 24‑hour emergency services schedule with variable shifts.
• Maintain current standards of care, equipment usage, and all certifications, licenses and registrations.
• Conduct yourself courteously and professionally when dealing with patients, co‑workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment and knowledge of state and county protocols.
• Provide top‑tier medical transport to medical facilities, assuming responsibility for patient care and following established policies and procedures.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and stock supplies; take ownership of your space.
• Collect patient billing information and obtain billing signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre‑hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to assignments from the Dispatch Center.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• New York State Paramedic License.
• Hudson Valley REMAC Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License (minimum 2 years) with acceptable driving record.
• Valid BLS CPR Card.
• Valid ACLS Certification.
• Valid PALS Certification.
• Ability to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more.
• Successful completion of Physical Aptitude Test.
• Tech‑savvy or comfortable with technology.
• Team‑player; respectful of colleagues, patients, and supervisors.
