Medical Assistant (Full Time

Job Summary

Full‑time Medical Assistant at our Park Avenue Main Office. The role involves performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting.

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photographs, prescriptions, prior authorizations, and procedures within established guidelines.
• Understand provider‑to‑patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps as best as possible.
• Prepare rooms before and after patients, checking all equipment at the start of each shift to ensure proper working order.
• Provide pre‑care and post‑care treatment instructions as needed.
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies, alert Head MA and/or GM of any low‑level supplies.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend all in‑house training and continued education opportunities.

• Dermatology experience required.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Computer savviness with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer service skills.
• Open availability during weekdays and weekends.

Full‑time, 30+ hours per week. Available Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

$19 – $24 per hour.
