The Center for Allied Health Education is seeking experienced RDMS sonographers in OB, Abdomen, Echo, or Vascular to join our growing program in Brooklyn.

This role is ideal for professionals looking to transition into education, reduce physical strain from full-time scanning, or supplement their current income with flexible teaching hours.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Instructor to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As an Instructor, you will play a critical role in educating and training the next generation of Sonographers. Your dedication to teaching and your expertise in Sonography will help our students achieve their educational and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in the radiography program, covering a range of topics in Sonography.
  • Create engaging lesson plans, course materials, and assessments to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Provide hands‑on training in scanning procedures and techniques.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their educational goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and updates in radiologic science to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to maintain program quality and accreditation standards.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of full-time practical occupational experience in the field of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Bachelor's Required
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Certificate required
  • Current ARDMS registration in specialty required;
  • BPSS Teacher license preferred
