Position Overview
SUNY Niagara seeks part‑time Phlebotomy Instructors for classroom and laboratory settings in the Nursing & Allied Health department.
Compensation and Work HoursRemuneration: $1,008 per lecture hour and $903 per lab hour for teaching at least three credits per semester. The position is part‑time with flexible hours based on teaching load.
Responsibilities- Teach and facilitate phlebotomy coursework for a diverse student population.
- Develop, prepare, and present learning materials for lectures and labs.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, supervisors, and the campus community.
- Operate instructional computers and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Current certification as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant (AAMA or AMT), or licensed RN with phlebotomy experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Phlebotomist.
- Formal instruction in educational theory and techniques.
- Teaching experience.
