Hours:
M-F, 20-30 hours per week
Workplace Flexibility Modality : Possibility of hybrid schedule after 30 days of work. Wednesdays are required in office day.
Work Environment: Office Environment, occasional travel for meetings and presentations within the NYC boroughs.

Who We AreThe Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. To this end, in partnership with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), FPHNYC incubates innovative public health initiatives implemented by DOHMH to advance community health throughout the city.

WorkWellNYC has setby working on variousprojectunder the supervision of the Program Director and Assistant Commissioner.
About the Program
Work Well NYC (WWNYC) is an innovative workplace wellness team servicing over 350,000 City of New York employees. Work Well NYC supports agencies to develop workplace-based programming and innovative, sustainable workplace wellness infrastructure. Work Well NYC offers Citywide programming in person and digitally - live and on-demand - in five areas: prevention and chronic conditions, physical fitness, mental well-being, nutrition, and health equity.
ResponsibilitiesProjects andresponsibilitieswill include:
Assist with the development of innovative programming such as events for the 10thanniversary of Work Well NYC
- Research vendors, event spaces, etc.
- Draft program planning documents such as objectives, evaluation measures/surveys, workplans, marketing materials, etc.
- Assist with implementation and staffing of events/initiatives
Assist with the development and mappingofdata analytics and customer relationship management tools and implementation
Conduct research to support reaching new population sand providing responsive programming
- Reach out to stakeholders togather information and schedule meetings(i.e.informal inquiries, focus groups, etc.)
- Draft communications to share information with stakeholders (i.e.emails, flyers,presentations,etc.)
Attend staff meetings and other WorkWellNYCmeetings as requested by their supervisor
- Other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and mission of the department/ organization.
- Possess strong skills inproject andtime management, verbaland written communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office , Canva,Airtableand Salesforce Displaya capacity for critical, independent, and creative thinking.
- Be a highly motivated self-starter who is flexible and able to balance multiple assignments with deadlines
- Previous experience with research,outreach and program development
- Previous experience with health and wellness promotion programs
- Able toparticipatein external workplace-based health forums (i.e., health fairs, educational programs) throughout NYCto promote and/or evaluate
WorkWellNYC programs - Previous experience with the City of New York
- Graduate student (preferred) inpublic health, health promotion,health administration,sociology, organizational development, social work,community organizingorotherrelated field
- Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
