Work Shift Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $72,000.00 - $. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.

The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

Job Qualifications EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree
EDUCATION

  • Masters degree
CERTIFICATION
- Required
  • ACRP, SOCRA, or similar certification preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Required
  • 3-5 years of clinical research experience
  • Statistical analysis experience preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Preferred
  • Familiarity with data capture platforms such as Red Cap and EMRs (Epic) preferred
SKILLS
- Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice for the handling of specimens and blood
  • Knowledge of Human Subjects research regulations and HIPAA compliance
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations for clinical trials
SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Orthopaedic terminology is preferred
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about the department and traverse the hospital campus. Examples: executive, management, administrative and secretarial positions.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature, and noise. Examples: patient care providers and laboratory technicians.

OSHA Category 2

Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other potentially infectious materials; but employment may require performing unplanned Category 1 tasks

POSITION & UNIT

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develops and prepares research protocols (IRB, IACUC, etc.).
  • Prepares and submits research grant applications (OTA, AONA, etc.).
  • Manages and reports on research grants.
  • Provides statistical analysis for ongoing research projects.
  • Drafts research manuscript, tables, and figures.
  • Prepares medical illustrations and diagrams for manuscripts, chapters, and presentations.
  • Performs laboratory studies including biomechanical and vascular perfusion research.
  • Provides assistance with lab
