Research Support Assistant III Grade: 14 Salary: $54,884-$65,719
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Support Assistant III position. This position involves direct contact with older adults with memory problems. Beyond administration of cognitive tests and rating scales, data entry, regulatory affairs, and scientific manuscript writing, all activities are supervised. The position is 2 years long. A robust and demonstrable interest in aging and Alzheimer disease is required.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Administration of cognitive tests and rating scales
- Establish and maintain study-related regulatory tasks and reviews
- Perform screening procedures, along with other assessments and outcome monitoring protocols (in-person and over Zoom/phone)
- Assist with manuscript and presentation preparation using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Perform blood draw protocols after receiving standard phlebotomy training
- Communicate and interact with study participants in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and performance tasks
- Coordinate lab meetings and document contents discussed during meetings
- MA or MS in psychology, neuroscience, or relevant field
- Candidates should have demonstrable interest in aging and Alzheimer's disease
