Home Health Aide Certificate required.

Provide satisfactory evidence of all licenses and certifications required of Home Health Aides by governing laws and regulations.

Medication certification required.

One year or more experience as a Home Health Aide preferable.

Successful completion of 12 hours of in-service education per year.

Works effectively, both independently and with others. Possess tact, discretion and diplomacy.

Ability to work under stress and complete duties. Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Compliance with Universal Precautions. May need to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary. .Heartsaver First Aide certified at hire or within 3 months of hire required.

High school level of knowledge.
