Location: Dobbs Ferry

Cabrini of Westchester seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct, person-centered care to senior residents in our Dobbs Ferry skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and comfort measures; obtain and document vital signs; support residents with memory and cognitive needs; and promptly report changes in condition. Working closely with nurses, therapists, and other team members, the CNA helps maintain a safe, dignified, faith-informed environment that honors each resident's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being while supporting our mission of holistic eldercare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
  • Measure, record, and report vital signs and other observations in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Support safe transfers, mobility, and positioning using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Offer compassionate support to residents with memory loss and cognitive impairments in a respectful manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to nursing staff.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and hygiene standards to protect residents and staff.
  • Protect resident dignity, privacy, and rights in alignment with Cabrini's mission and Catholic values.
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and families.
