As a Medical Receptionist, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient workflow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures - before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

  Full-time, hours vary between 7am-7pm;
  Sunday - Friday

  This position requires to work at Fulton St (Lower Manhattan), Flatbush (Brooklyn), Forest Hills and Ridgewood (Queens)
• Compensation: $19-$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Language Requirement:
  Fluency in Mandarin or Korean Required
• Paid Training (2-4 weeks)

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinical
  
  Works, or similar systems
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• 1-2 years of hands‑on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment, required
