Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting young learners as a school-based occupational therapist. This full-time position, scheduled from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, focuses on working with a vibrant PreK caseload of children ages 3-5. Play a vital role in helping students develop foundational skills for academic and personal success, collaborating closely with a committed educational team.

• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
• Understanding of developmental milestones for early childhood (ages 3-5)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

• Provide direct therapy services for PreK students based on individualized education programs
• Develop goals and interventions tailored to each child’s developmental needs
• Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in assessments, meetings, and ongoing progress evaluations
• Create engaging, age-appropriate therapeutic activities to foster motor and sensory development
• Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress and interventions
