Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 7pm

• Experience as a caregiver for a young adult with disabilities
• Experience working with people with who have difficulties with expressive language
• Willingness to be flexible and creative to support adults with various needs and challenges
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and experience using de-escalation techniques
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable with toileting and personal hygiene (family prefers male identifying candidates)

• Support with arranging group activities and coordinating transportation; accompany the individual when appropriate.
• Assist with daily living skills (ADLs) to ensure the individual stays safe and clean, including keeping his space tidy, supporting personal hygiene, checking/responding to messages, and scheduling social appointments.
• Track and log detailed notes on wellbeing and ADL progress.
• Coordinate with the client’s team to ensure seamless care; participate in weekly team meetings to review progress and discuss needs.
• Help regulate and de-escalate client if/when he has trouble regulating himself
