Role Overview
Provides
Role OverviewProvides physical therapy interventions under supervision, assisting in monitoring patient progress, documenting care, and modifying treatments within the scope of practice. Works directly with patients in their homes or care facilities, helping with therapeutic activities, transfers, and use of medical equipment. Ensures compliance with policies, maintains accurate records, and participates in team meetings and special projects.
Qualifications- License: NY State Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Education:
Associate’s Degree from an approved NY program or equivalent - Experience:
Minimum two years in clinical patient care - Skills:
Bilingual skills may be required, basic PC skills preferred - Additional requirements:
Valid driver’s license may be needed based on operational needs
