CNA Transportation Aide

Centers Adult Day Care is seeking a compassionate CNA Transportation Aide to safely transport adult day participants to and from our center and support their basic care needs. Responsibilities include assisting clients in and out of vehicles, ensuring use of mobility aids and safety restraints, monitoring participants' wellbeing during transport, and communicating any concerns to nursing and care staff. The CNA Transportation Aide will also provide light personal care and escort support within the center.

This role is ideal for CNAs who value dignity, patience, teamwork, and making a daily impact on seniors and adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport participants to and from the adult day care center
• Assist clients in and out of vehicles using safe transfer techniques
• Ensure proper use of mobility aids, seatbelts, and safety restraints
• Monitor participants' comfort and wellbeing during transport
• Provide light personal care and escort assistance within the center
• Communicate participant status, concerns, and incidents to care and nursing staff
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
• Complete basic transport and mileage documentation
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of transport vehicles
• Collaborate with team members to support daily program operations
