We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, New York. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food service to our residents and staff while ensuring a safe and clean dining environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with all dietary functions in accordance with policies and procedures, and to ensure quality food service is provided to all residents and staff
- Set up trays and/or place settings according to care planned diets and individual meal tickets
- Assist with meal set-up at meal time according to the diet card, considering food preferences and consistencies to meet each resident's individual dietary needs
- Stock the cafe with supplies as directed by supervisor
- Perform related tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior industrial/commercial kitchen experience preferred
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Dependable, adaptable to change, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work hours include alternate Saturdays and Sundays
- Rate will be commensurate with experience
