Robotic experience is required. Fair share of on-call requirements with a rotation of 1 in 4 or 5. Call starts at 7 PM and ends at 7 AM the next day. Weekend call is from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Monday. There is a 20-minute call-back requirement. Call house available for those living outside the requirements. 1 year of scrubbing experience is needed.

1 weekend out of every 5 is required and one weeknight per week. Candidates within 75 miles will not be accepted.

Description:

The surgical tech will assist in various surgical procedures. Must have experience with orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, and podiatry. Required skills include scrubbing for endoscopic sinus procedures and laparoscopic assisted cases. Experience with radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, and laparoscopic assisted procedures is essential. Familiarity with peg tube placement/exchange, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection (open/laparoscopic), and hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical) is important.

Experience with thyroidectomy (partial/total), Whipple, abdominal hysterectomy, and bilateral tubal ligation is needed. C-section and dilation & curettage experience are required. Familiarity with laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures and vaginal hysterectomy is preferred. Experience with arthroscopy and closed/open reduction of fractures is a plus. Experience with laminectomy/discectomy, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and ankle fusion is also necessary. Knowledge of cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and transurethral resection of the prostate is required.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with aseptic technique. Experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and TORS (Trans Oral Robotic Surgery) is essential. Candidates must have community hospital experience. Experience with EPIC charting systems is a hard requirement. All surgical techs are required to float as needed.
