Essential

Qualifications:

• Current New York State certification as a School Psychologist (required)
• Broad understanding of psychological evaluation methods and intervention strategies
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, faculty, and family members
• Ability to manage sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop actionable recommendations for intervention
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support each student’s educational and emotional needs
• Assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultations
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and ongoing professional development
